I’m a visual storyteller with a focus on street photography and the documentation of craftsmanship. What connects these two worlds for me is authenticity: real people, real moments, and the beauty found in honest work.
On the street, I’m drawn to spontaneity and human presence, gestures, interactions, and expressions that happen in an instant. In workshops I slow down to observe the patience and precision behind handmade craft. Both require awareness, timing, and respect for what unfolds naturally in front of the lens.
I mainly work with the Leica M11-P and a 35mm Summicron. The rangefinder encourages me to stay present and intentional with every frame. It’s a camera that demands focus and rewards patience — exactly what I look for in photography.
Let me know what you think of my work. I'm curious!
Artist statement
I document street life and craftsmanship through black-and-white photography.
Black and white allows me to strip things down to their essence — form, light, and emotion. It gives each moment a certain stillness, a sense of timeless clarity. I prefer to work without any on camera flash or flash installations. Existing light is the way I use light in my photography.
In street photography you never know what is coming your way, but that makes it interesting to me! It could be anything and anyone. I try to capture the moments as they happen, I don't make people do their action again, if I missed a shot. That's on me, not on them. I want to keep it real, not fake.
